I am also curios about this!! I’ve just applied to MSCA but I am currently looking for other opportunities just in case I don’t suceed.

How competitive is the HFSP fellowship as compared with the MSCA IF? Just curious. I have applied for Alexander von Humboldt fellowship too.

In terms of number I don't know...
I have to say, HFSP application was much easier to prepare in comparison to MSCA. it is also a bit different (e.g. you need two reference letters, which are not requested in the MSCA application). There is also the EMBO fellowship, which is pretty competitive too...
