Hi everyone, My first post though I follow all comment since a while. Not sure if it makes sense to "speculate" on the status of evaluation vs ranking. There are multiple groups of reviewers within each panel, it is not known if all the groups have reach their final decision. Therefore, may some of us being "ranking" because the corresponding group of reviewers have finished, and may some others of us being still in "evaluation" because the conclusion of some group of reviewers have still not been fully processed ? BEST of luck everyone !

I miss that post - So, why a status of "ranking" , and why the result should be known more than one month later ?

The system is presumably largely automated and it follows a schedule that must comply with finalized budgets, so even if the reviews were completed months ago, the other parts of the bureaucratic apparatus have to proceed along, forcing all of us to anxiously await replies.

Btw...I recall somewhere in my mind that people rejected are getting the email earlier than the others...
May someone confirm this or I've just messed up the info?

emails seem to go out by proposal number from past threads.

They are all mixed up. The most popular theory is that they get emailed out based on the proposal number. But even if that was the case in previous years, maybe they will change it up this year!

Not at all. I was rejected in the 2017 call and I received the email later than others.

I think this long day it's over (for people with EU time zone), and now we are ready for the last mile.
