I got in touch with the local office -- they have not received the results yet. so either they come later in the day (hard to imagine, though not impossible), or we all get them at the same time on monday.

Guys it is mid Friday and all indications and information have been favoring Monday since yesterday. Of course there is always a chance of today but in my opinion it is farfetched. I've been writing more project proposals than paper sections since September, how can one do research in such conditions? (don't even let me started on the covid-19 part, I haven't been able to go to my office since March)

Funny (somehow tragic) fact: I started my academic life with law studies and quickly left because 'the road to becoming a lawyer is too long'. So here I am, trying to become a professor of theoretical linguistics.
