Really? 50% were without Phd? Thats interesting. Lets be hopeful thenElonMusk wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:14 pmSame situation here. If you fulfil eligibility criteria should not be a problem
Tnx mate. I had precisely 4 y of experience as PhD researcher by the time of my application but still I couldn't be sure...
I actually forgot the pass for the EU portal as I didn't checked it since 9th of Sep, after seeing you guys freaking out I started panicking as well.
In theory, your career moment should not affect, but that's in theory

I would love it! French wine is also famous for being very goodAnni_LIF wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:18 pmCan I send you a bottle over? I bought two yesterday, just in case that I freak out.Plastics_fan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:15 pmSame! I was ok until I've somehow started panicking, maybe I should get a bottle of wine tooAnni_LIF wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:13 pmVery sorry for all those that already know that they did not get it.
I was ok today and trying to review a paper and work on some stuff, but know I just feel sick from the stress and being constantly scared when an email comes in. I should turn off my inbox for some hours.
What is happening at 8pm?? Tonight?
My bottle of wine is already open and half empty.
Greetings from France.
Greetings from Italy, let's stay positive (or drunk!)

Thus I guess you passed at least the eligibility criteria (otherwise they would not have reviewed your proposal )Zeboim wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:22 pmWhen I disable browser style I see 'ranking phase' .Diatosystem wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:17 pmwhat is your current phase?Zeboim wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:10 pm

Good! That's the spirit! EnjoyNoPanic42 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:21 pmThanks! It is tomorrow, that why I will wait. I am in a good mood and whatever it happens I will take it. Time to relax. Good results at work which keep me distractedAmancay wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:17 pmHappy birthday NoPanic42!
I tried to go for stoic mode, told myself I won't check the forum and just wait for the email. Yet here I am, following and feeling the rush. Still not sure I want to bother Dreamer, who will surely have a too many people wanting to know. On the other hand, getting it over with before my second pfeizer covid vaccination on Monday would be good! I have a fear of needles, and it's enough to stress about only that

Just over 100 mins to 8PM let's see what happens assuming it's EU time zone not the UK one...

msca2019 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 5:35 pmSo sorry Jolly. I know how you feel. I assume most of us will have the same outcome as you as only the few lucky ones will go home with the grantJolly wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 5:28 pmJust know that I failed I was in ranking, I failed with 75! I have two successful proposal with 98.6 and100 marks and read more than 10 other proposals. Sometimes I read this forum and I cannot believe that this is a lottery. I spent more than 120 days and read every fucking page and info and see lots of video in youtube not for this call! An evaluator told me that you will get 95 or more if the reviewers like it! I was 100 percent sure that I will get it. My idea is very hot! and I used 3 figures , 11 tables، covered all the issues very professionally( believe me). I cannot believe that I don't even get the seal of excellence. Hope all the best for all of you. This is lottery do your best but don't count on this.
I am very sorry that our heroes Dreamer and PetetheCat and other didn't get the grant. I have been visiting this chat every once in a while and I have learned so much. A few years ago I won a GF-SOC, from my experience, as others have mentioned, resubmission is a no go. I won my grant in the third attempt. My first time I got 91,3, I resubmitted fixing the mistakes and got 87. Then changed a bit the topic, supervisor and host, and got 100%. This year I am applying to the RI panel. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I mean, from a pool of 4 winners with my potential host as destination I don't know the exact % in the overall scheme, but I know that even people who are not in doctoral programs have won itbyo001 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 6:23 pmReally? 50% were without Phd?
