Any thoughts on this?? Curious to see your opinions/comments/suggestions
There are some fellowships to do research in Japan (https://www.jsps.go.jp/english/e-fellow/index.html). There are two calls every year. They are as competitive as MSCA (in general 9-11% of success) but the number of people applying is, in general, around 1200.
Even though it is also a lottery, the most important thing they value is the project, same as MSCA. However, the project in this Japanese fellowship is only 2 pages.
In this case, I think you can recycle the proposal. Actually, I did something similar. This is my first time applying for the MSCA (I didn't get it, below the threshold), but I got the Japanese fellowship this last December.
My point is that I attended lots of seminars, I had a lot of help from the host supervisor and institution and they gave me a lot of tips to write a good proposal for MSCA during the summer. I used the same style, same structure, a slight similar project but very different at the same time in the Japanese fellowship, which I submitted in late September, and I got it!! So...if you summarize it, you can recycle it for this fellowship.

LOOL at 00.53? It is like when we program an email, because we all do but I found it so hilarious this time selected by MSCA. "Let's send it on 8.00 am, uhm, maybe it is better on 00.53"

Well, it's thousands of emails. I assume they use some sort of loop to prevent their servers from crashing, no?Mary_dramaqueen wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 11:56 pm
