Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
Its from published statistical data from research papers/
sources
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
The reserve people who got funded find out in July. So I imagine all remaining money after grants are signed in May gets put together and redistributed as how it was for main funding? Then when those reserve list people decline there is additional notification in October if you were further down the reserve list. Formal rejection the following jan in the event July/Oct nothing happens.
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
At least the trend (in percentage of main list) seems to be increasing:
>>> a = numpy.asarray([1142, 1018, 1030, 1172])
>>> b = numpy.asarray([1072, 947, 925, 1029])
>>> c = (a-b)/b
>>> c
array([0.06529851, 0.0749736 , 0.11351351, 0.13896987])
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
I know a fellow that was first in reserve list and then was invited to prepare the grant agreement in April or May.MSCA-IF wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 6:08 pmThe reserve people who got funded find out in July. Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
Hm yes, this is what i find confusing as to how that works as a centralised system that is why i really suspect that it is not like that for reserve funding. There was discussion a while back that the leftover funds were distributed as per the "main call" but unless then everyone finds out from reserve at the same time it must not be. Each panel had different cutoff and sub-cutoff and weighting, i am rather starting to think that if an LIF drops out then an LIF fellow replaces.iteration wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 6:40 pmI know a fellow that was first in reserve list and then was invited to prepare the grant agreement in April or May.MSCA-IF wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 6:08 pmThe reserve people who got funded find out in July. But aside from dropouts; extra money might become available and i think that gets distributed as per main list results.
Dont know if all that makes sense, I am curious how exactly they do it!
Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
This makes a lot of more sense to me. If each panel has different threshold and people in reserve get the email at different times, it seems more likely that each panel works independently, at least for dropouts.MSCA-IF wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 6:48 pmHm yes, this is what i find confusing as to how that works as a centralised system that is why i really suspect that it is not like that for reserve funding. Re: MSCA funded from RESERVE LIST
The second cut-off indicates people in reserve that got funded? I got last year 89.4 in GF-LIF and I did NOT get funded. The second cutoff for this category in this list is 88.6, so my guess this is the cutoff for entering into the reserve list, right?jdm wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 7:58 pm2019 EF panels: Cut-off scores (Main list) --- (Reserve list)
