EU stopped funding all scientific russian projects so that might not be surprising (as sad as it is... )

Maybe they should also ban Mendeleev periodic table. i wont be surprised if they actually do so.

I feel sorry for Russian scientists and researchers if that is true... Why can't we human beings stop fighting/war and just live in peace on earth, that's frustrating

The news says: EU suspends funding to Russian organisations. it seems that the research projects with links with Russian institutions are likely to be subject to this suspension regardless of the researchers' nationality. This would make more sense than cutting funding to Russian individuals researching across the EU, most of them powerlessly suffering the dangerous madness of a dictator.

There are quite a few bans of Russians from professional activities in EU, including for example maestros in classical music and theatre.

It is really sad to see the EU taking such authoritarian measures.

We dont need sci-hub. At least at my University we can download all papers for free.

Although I don't use sci-hub, I do know some of people need it, who may not work in a university or the university doesn't buy all databases, it happens
