They have this strict criteria of within 2 years of PhD. So I submitted like 7 days before I finished 2 years as postdoc. This would be thus my first and last attempt for EMBO

We don't have more information than you do about when the results will be released...

Well, they always know nothing and have no information... but then it happens that results mysteriously leak before official announcement...

They did not told : "we do not have the results", but "we don't know when they will be released".

It is clear now that they do have the results, but it is not them who are in charge of sending the results.

Just my thoughts on the topic of NCPs hiding results: It could be that the NCP responsible for the person who got some info had an unofficial info from the EC. I believe that NCPs could easily say yes, we have the results but are not allowed to share it before EC officially releases them, be patient. Doesn't seem to me like the NCPs would have any benefit from hiding that they have the results.

It is clear now that they do have the results, but it is not them who are in charge of sending the results.

My point is: a few days ago they apparently didn't know anything about the results and they didn't receive anything. But they actually did know.
It's pointless to ask the NCPs about anything because they will always say "we have no information about X"

It's just utterly disrespectful with us, professionals, that they wouldn't take a minute to post on their social media pages or directly at the portal about this delay.
It's unprofessional, it's disrespectful. I just can't wrap my mind around that this is how this institution that manages such huge grants can behave like this.
