In my opinion, there is some trend. But it was last year, this year can be different.

This year many (or several) remained as “submission” until the second day (March 2nd), among which turned quickly to evaluation and to ranking. Seems to be a new thing as compared to last years.

the changes to ranking on first march happened only up to 4 pm and after that the change in phase was not reported.
Then, started next morning around nine.
It is possible that all winners changed on first march and the rest on second march.

Your case is more proof that the whole magic link speculation is totally unreliable.
Normally, submission phase remains until it goes to the vice-chairs. Though, the status of yours may not been updated at all. The magic link is like we try to draw conclusions out of thin air. We speculate that they upload the high scores first, or base on the Acronym or whatever. And who is doing all this well organized and structured updates and management? The EC hahahaha it is just laughable, the guys of EC just randomly upload whatever they have, they may forget to update something while it is uploaded. The only certain thing is that EC is chaotic bureaucratic organization with poor management (The existence of a magic link that any applicant accesses info that she/he shouldn't, is further evidence that they are "un grand bordel". So, no magic link speculations
