Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum
a much worse score this time than last time (80%, 2nd time, ID 789xxx, email received at 6:17 a.m.), and the comments are seriously off-point, as if given by people who didn't really read the proposal ..
is there a way to appeal/ask for an extra evaluation?

I don't think so I will apply again. And similar kind of comments in my report as well. I suggested the journals all with above 96% JIF score but according to reviewer its not good enough lol.rsr wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:21 amEverybody gets some review comments of questionable quality (myself included). This is how MSCA works... If you intend to re-apply you should keep this in mind (to not get frustrated )!!!InfoCom wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:16 amIn my case review quality is very bad. I can't imagine how some one can give such non serious comments. I am ok I had alternative options but there are people who really need this and reviewer show such non serious attitude.ANGF wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 9:38 amSecond rejection this year. GF-SOC 83%. Reviews were of much higher quality this year, and written in such a way that it is clear how to address them - last year I got a couple of general comments like "insufficient detail"/"insufficient information" that are not helpful for improving a proposal. However I am sure the reviewers will find new weaknesses next year. I am still very disappointed but nothing can be changed now!
In my publication plan, I had the top venues (both conferences and journals) of my domain and I got this comment: "the respective venues are of medium quality". At best, this reviewer is not very familiar with the domain so I wonder why he/she reviewed my proposal.
Not complaining, I knew that it is always possible to get such comments with MSCA...

Re: Marie Curie Individual Fellowship Forum
I got an email which clearly said that we can start grant preparation. Also there is the letter in the Project section of PP which is specifically for 'invitation to gant preparation'.
Considering that I got 95.2% and you more than 98%, I will be really surprised if you are in the reserved list.
so don't worry at all.

sorry I was confused about score, I guess you don't have score yet.Chem-IF wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:38 amI got an email which clearly said that we can start grant preparation. Also there is the letter in the Project section of PP which is specifically for 'invitation to gant preparation'.

There is, but it is time-consuming and useless - they never change anything.
