Request all to share the sheet to your known acquaintances who applied MSCA, that may increase data size.Dr.Honeywine wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 4:28 amThis is great idea for future reference. A word of caution, we know the population to be 8039 and population proportion 0.16. We need at least 201 sample size to make valid interpretation (cochran formula). One thing I notice from previous years is the sample proportion happens to be bigger in this platform. Last year, 20 members were granted out of 95 in the spreadsheet. There were plenty that didn't update their status so the sample proportion could be higher than 0.21. In anycase, from the limited sample size, early ranking WAS NOT indicator of being granted. But keep participating may be some pattern will emerge.skm wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:53 pmHi all,
can you people who applied and seen the status through the link, please fill the Google Spreadsheet given below to get some data? helps to understand some trend.

Thank you.

Does anyone know how the minimum score for success is calculated for each panel? How is the number of successful cases for each panel determined?

I think I read this somewhere (but can't find the page now). A budget is assigned to each panel which is proportional to the number of applicants for that panel. I can't remember the proportion though! Then they figure how how many people they can fund with that budget.PlasmaFuture wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 11:00 amDoes anyone know how the minimum score for success is calculated for each panel? I *think* it was the 14th Feb last year.regyx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:37 pmWhat was their indicative timeline date for notifying applicants?applyapplyagain wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 7:02 pmI was checking last year's thread, and it seems like the first people were notified after midnight on Feb 13th, where the official deadline for results was Feb 14th. If I understand. So now I'm wondering: since our official deadline is Feb 13th, are we going to get first notifications after midnight of Feb *12th*??
