I have been thinking about this. Perhaps they could send emails after the submission for the CoG closes today?

Is there any chances that they start sending emails randomly? I mean not starting from midnight as we always expect.

I was checking at what time is the deadline for the ERC, but did not find the hour. Maybe at 5pm as we had? I really do not know.
One more point that I got the notification for the MC closure around 8:30 PM on Sep 12th - so we still have chances to get something by today.

Honestly this is ridiculous. A very bad precedent for the Commission.

I know that, bureaucratically/typically speaking, they do have every right to release even on the 12th. However, they established a practice of announcing and releasing well before the deadline, and everybody expected just that. Even more so, NCPs and the MSCA social media announcing or implying different dates adds to the mix.

Anyway, the bottom line is that we should just keep waiting and hope for the best.

Yeah, I remember my PI, who's writing a CoG, telling me it's 5pm. But I think the weight of history leans behind us getting the notifications tomorrow (Friday).
