I think it works for limited countries which provides additional schemes for funding.

This seal of excellence is new for me.

I'm reading this:
"All proposals submitted to MSCA individual fellowships which score 85% or above and could not be funded due to a lack of budget are automatically awarded the Seal of Excellence. Certificates are awarded in March each year."

Does it means that we get a certificate even if we don't get funding? Is it something we can add to our CV? Maybe helps for the next MSCA applications...
My country is not providing anything for who achieve the seal of excellence

Are they widening countries?

Yes, you can add to CV. Last year I was in reserve list, so I have added to my CV this year.

What was the lowest application number? And how sure are we that it really goes by number?
I think it is 830 or 831.
I'm not sure that they will follow the application number, but from what I read in this forum last years they did that

844xxx here.

I don't get the e-mail by number thing, though. Do they have someone writing each and every one of the applicants to inform them about the decision? :P

Actually you cannot make reference to reserve list or seal of excellence that you got the year before on the same project. If you do it evaluators do not take it into account.

Followibg my host's research office advice, I have not included the seal in this year's pproposal. There is an explicit clause in the application guide forbidding us to include any information about previous years results in our application!

Maybe I should have!

I take a bit of time to send 10k e-mail...so usually, they go by proposal ID...
Maybe this year will be faster with the new infrastructure...
