For everyone who submitted a proposal the status is Final. This Final is in relation with the submission, not with the evaluation.

I am curious to know what people are doing: Are you already in host institution? Are you working in a different lab waiting for the results and move on?
I am currently under another fellowship working in a different lab in host country.

Already with my host institution in France. I was working here for 8 months when I applied, so either I get it and stay or I will move on to god knows what.megasphaera wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:00 amI am curious to know what people are doing: Are you already in host institution? I am new to this forum and submitted MSCA proposal for the first time. I have recently joined as postdoc fellow at USA. If I get the fellowship, I plan to move to France. Curiously waiting for the results..

I am also curious about people opinions on the following: let's say you are doing a postdoc in a lab you like and your msca fellowship is in another one. Would you drop your current position to accept the msca? I imagine if is to go back to your country you will accept anyway.

Now, the funding and tenders portal:

I am already at the host institution in the Netherlands. Getting the MSCA fellowship (or one of the other grants I applied for) would greatly improve my chances for a tenure track position there. If that doesn't work out, I will look for greener pastures (and more permanent job opportunities) outside of academia.megasphaera wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:00 amI am curious to know what people are doing: Are you already in host institution? Anyone else tired of being a grown-up without a secure job?

I would accept msca because i would like to broaden my research area and extend my competency in the proposed area of research.megasphaera wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 9:52 amI am also curious about people opinions on the following: let's say you are doing a postdoc in a lab you like and your msca fellowship is in another one.
